Do Not Call and consent

Leadey makes it easy to respect contacts who should not be called. You can flag any lead, and Leadey keeps them out of active queues.

Mark a lead as Do Not Call

Every lead has a Do Not Call field. Turn it on for any contact who should not be called. You can also set a lead's status to DNC, which is a terminal status.

How terminal statuses work

Statuses marked as terminal, such as DNC, Not Interested, and Completed, hide a lead from active queues so reps do not contact them by mistake. You manage these under Settings, then Lead Statuses.

Screen against the TPS and CTPS

Before calling UK contacts, screen your lists against the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) and Corporate TPS (CTPS), and re-screen at least every 28 days. Do not call numbers registered there unless they have specifically consented. Keep your own internal do-not-call list and honour any opt-out or objection promptly.

Why it matters

Honouring Do Not Call requests is part of compliant outreach. Keeping the flag up to date protects both your contacts and your team.
