Workflow building blocks
Every step you can add, and what each one does.
Updated 23 September 2026
Messaging
Send Email: from a fixed mailbox, the user who triggered the workflow, the meeting host, or the campaign’s sending accounts, with a template and signature.
Send SMS and Send WhatsApp.
LinkedIn: connection request, message or profile visit.
Call Task: creates a call task for the lead’s owner, due now.
Timing
Wait / Delay: minutes, hours, days or weeks.
Wait for Event: waits for something to happen (for example a LinkedIn acceptance), with Yes and Timed out paths.
Logic
Condition: a Yes/No branch.
A/B Split: send half down each path to test messages.
Actions
Change Status, Add / Remove Tag, Update Field.
Assign Owner: round robin or me.
Move Opportunity and Log Activity.
Webhook: sends the lead’s details to a URL you choose.
Exit
Goal Reached and Exit Workflow.
Heads up. Email opens and link clicks aren’t tracked for workflow emails, so don’t build steps that wait for them.
