Unsubscribes, bounces and the suppression list

How opt-outs and bounces are handled, and how to manage the list.

Updated 23 September 2026
Emails sent by workflows include an unsubscribe link automatically.
A reply asking to unsubscribe, opt out or be removed, or starting with “stop”, adds the sender to your suppression list.
Bounces and spam complaints add the address to the list too, log it on the lead’s timeline, and take them out of active workflows.

Manage the list in Settings → Suppression List. You’ll see why each address is there (Unsubscribed, Bounced, Complaint or Manual). Add an address to stop emailing it, or remove one to allow emails to it again.

Note. Leadey won’t send to a suppressed address, from a workflow or by hand.
Access. If you don’t see this tab, your role doesn’t include it. Ask an admin in your workspace.
