Frequently asked questions
Can I refer the company I currently work at?
No. Referrals of a company you’re employed by or hold a stake in aren’t eligible. Ask us about a direct discount instead.
What if two of us recommended the same team?
Last click wins where two affiliates overlap.
What exactly do I get paid on?
Collected revenue: money the referred team has actually paid, for 12 months from their first paid invoice. Not trials, not signups, and not invoices that were raised but never settled.
How much can I earn?
Between 20% and 30% of what each referred team pays, depending on your tier. Leadey is priced per seat (£49 to £99 per seat a month), so commission grows as the team adds seats. Move up a tier and the new rate applies to your whole book, not just new referrals.
How long is a click attributed to me?
90 days. If someone clicks your link and signs up eleven weeks later, it’s still yours. Where two affiliates overlap, last click wins.
Does my code work without the link?
Yes. Entering it at checkout attributes the customer to you and takes 20% off their first 3 months, with no link or cookie involved. Commission is a share of what they actually pay, so it’s lower for those months and returns to the full amount from month 4.
What happens if a referral cancels?
Commission stops with their last paid month. Nothing is clawed back from what you’ve already been paid, unless the invoice itself is refunded or charged back.
When and how do I get paid?
Monthly, on the 1st, once the 30-day hold clears and your balance is over £50. Bank transfer or PayPal.
Do I need a big audience?
No. We look at whether you actually talk to people who run outbound, not follower counts. A consultant with twenty clients is a better fit than a general business account with fifty thousand followers.
Can I refer my own company or run ads on the Leadey name?
No to both. Self-referrals and companies you work for or hold a stake in aren’t eligible, and bidding on “Leadey” brand terms isn’t allowed. Ads pointing to your own content are fine.
